If you’re having any trouble, it might be related to your drive letter problem. Here is where things get fun. I do recall a flashing bios problem that was corrected by removing ALL drives.

Ok as I spend more time researching this 2940uq have found a workaround that lets me use the whole shebang without the headaches taps wood. DriverGuru Senator et Subscriptor Tribus: Post what is listed for the Target-ID and LUN for a number of devices, particularly if you can determine which ones are ‘ghosts’.
For all of the help and insight you guys have provided, my hat is off. Well it seems we have come 2 steps closer to figuring out the exact nature f the xxp.

I got an Adaptec uw for this purpose.
